1. All advanced music students and teachers of any age living in Indonesia can now have the opportunity to play the music of Ananda Sukarlan and coached by himself as composer-in-residence a few days prior to the concert. The concert itself will take place in Surabaya on May 2nd, 2010. The maestro himself will perform some of his music in that concert. Musicians are free to choose the piece for any instruments and any formation from his long list of works. Vocalists are strongly recommended, since Ananda's ouvre consist of more than 80 songs for voice and various instruments (mostly piano). Musicians should first do the live audition in Surabaya (no recordings) on February 27th and 28th, and the deadline for the inscription is 17th February.

2. Ananda Sukarlan will sit as a jury member for the ITB International Choir Competition 2010, held in Bandung on July 26th-August 2nd, 2010. He is also commissioned to write the theme song for the inauguration of the festival. Applications deadline to join the Competition 2010 is only one month from now (February 28, 2010). 3. All participants EXCEPT the first prize winner of Ananda Sukarlan Award 2008 are allowed to join the ASA 2010. Pieces from "Alicia's First Piano Book" are allowed to be played in the first round, however, the jury would appreciate technically more demanding works such as Ananda Sukarlan's Etudes, a number from "Just a Minute!" for left hand alone or other pieces.
